A great example is the Bacharach Sofa, a stunning piece upholstered in a deep blue velvet, that combines several trends in just one product: mid-century design, velvet fabric, and jewel tones. Featuring curved metal supports and fluid modern forms, this sofa is the definition of luxury, while being cozy enough to make you want to watch TV in it.

Martyn Lawrence Bullard

Martyn Lawrence Bullard is a renowned Los Angeles-based interior designer, whose design combines a wide range of styles, resulting in eclectic but sophisticated interiors. Martyn’s amazing mastery of a broad range of styles, paired with his unrivaled attention to detail and commitment to quality has earned him significant international acclaim, having been featured in thousands of publications.

The designer is a lover and collector of all things vintage and has transformed this into a profession by also curating and selling vintage home decor items, with his choices displayed at 1stdibs. One of our favorite pieces is the pair of Venetian Turquoise lamps, made with Murano glass and 24k gold flecks. These pieces are a great example of amazing craftsmanship, while also being completely on trend thanks to their pastel hue.

Fitzroy Sofa is one of the newest products by  It’s inspired by Mount Fitz Roy, a mountain in Patagonia, whose name is a tribute to Robert FitzRoy, the captain of the ship that transported Charles Darwin in his travels around the world. The designer has collaborated with endless interior design brands, but the more recent collaboration was with Living Spaces, along with his partner Jeremiah Brent. The couple created an exquisite upholstery collection that was inspired by their many travels around the world. One of our favorite pieces is the Matteo Armchair, that follows the neutral palette trend. This chair takes inspiration from 1930s France, as well as modern-day California, with a curved shelter-style frame, button tufting, and sleek metal legs.

The Queluz cabinet is one of our favorite pieces by the designer, going along with the geometric trend. With doors decorated with two semi-discs in gouged and patinated brass, sheathing of parchment and glossy black lacquer. The tray and legs are in solid brass.
