Jonathan Alder
Jonathan Alder is one of the top interior designers in the world, being the representation of the mid-century modern design. With a beginning in pottery, the designer launched his brand in the ’90s and, since then, has been a household name in the world of interior design, with hundreds of retail locations worldwide, a thriving website and tons of residential and commercial projects.
The designer is always up-to-date with the interior design trends, and his 2019 collection is no exception. A great example is the Bacharach Sofa, a stunning piece upholstered in a deep blue velvet, that combines several trends in just one product: mid-century design, velvet fabric, and jewel tones. Featuring curved metal supports and fluid modern forms, this sofa is the definition of luxury, while being cozy enough to make you want to watch TV in it.
Martyn Lawrence Bullard
Martyn Lawrence Bullard is a renowned Los Angeles-based interior designer, whose design combines a wide range of styles, resulting in eclectic but sophisticated interiors. Martyn’s amazing mastery of a broad range of styles, paired with his unrivaled attention to detail and commitment to quality has earned him significant international acclaim, having been featured in thousands of publications.
The designer is a lover and collector of all things vintage and has transformed this into a profession by also curating and selling vintage home decor items, with his choices displayed at 1stdibs. One of our favorite pieces is the pair of Venetian Turquoise lamps, made with Murano glass and 24k gold flecks. These pieces are a great example of amazing craftsmanship, while also being completely on trend thanks to their pastel hue.
Fitzroy Sofa is one of the newest products by It’s inspired by Mount Fitz Roy, a mountain in Patagonia, whose name is a tribute to Robert FitzRoy, the captain of the ship that transported Charles Darwin in his travels around the world. This curved sofa, with its back inspired by the outstanding mountain shape, is fully upholstered in cotton velvet and the base is in matte casted brass. The designer has collaborated with endless interior design brands, but the more recent collaboration was with Living Spaces, along with his partner Jeremiah Brent. The couple created an exquisite upholstery collection that was inspired by their many travels around the world. One of our favorite pieces is the Matteo Armchair, that follows the neutral palette trend. This chair takes inspiration from 1930s France, as well as modern-day California, with a curved shelter-style frame, button tufting, and sleek metal legs.
Kelly Hoppen
Kelly Hoppen is a household name in the interior design industry and one of the most sought-after interior designers in the world, with over 40 years of experience in the business. Hoppen’s style is globally renowned and ever-evolving, being underpinned by a subtle coordinated fusion of East meets West: clean lines and neutral tones, blended with charming warmth and sumptuous opulence.

Jean Nouvel is considered one of the world’s most innovative architects and product designers. The Ami-Verre Bookcase is one of the architect’s latest creations, being made up of several pieces of 10 mm tempered glass. It has a unique modular system, so you can customize it in different configurations. The structure is reinforced and stabilized with metallic strengthening elements positioned in the joints. This bookcase is the perfect piece for any minimalist decor.
Philippe Starck
Philippe Starck is the biggest name of French interior design, also being a creator, designer, and architect. Starck has a big mission: that a creation, whatever form it may take, must improve the lives of as many people as possible. That’s why his recent collaboration with Cassina is so important. The designer created a furniture collection for the brand that was upholstered in a vegan alternative to leather, that is also much more sustainable. The amazing black sofa goes along with black and minimalist interior design trends.
Alice Suspension Lamp by Homes’Society was inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Lewis Carrol’s masterpiece. It is a hexagon shaped lamp that can be sold individually or within a set. Alberto Pinto was a phenomenal interior designer based in New York. The Alberto Pinto Studio is now run by his sister Linda Pinto, that carries the task of keeping his legacy alive. After having attended the “Ecole de Louvre” in Paris, Alberto created a photography agency in New York (USA) specializing in decoration and interior design. The Queluz cabinet is one of our favorite pieces by the designer, going along with the geometric trend. With doors decorated with two semi-discs in gouged and patinated brass, sheathing of parchment and glossy black lacquer. The tray and legs are in solid brass.
Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola is a famous architect and designer. She is known internationally because her work is suitable for many projects, but she also works with a lot of known furniture companies such as Molteni or Boffi. Urquiola’s work is widely known to be playful and poetic, yet pragmatic and functional, a creative combination that is the magic behind her pieces. She comes and goes through conventional time – rethinking, reinventing, and creating new. One of her latest creations is the Liquefy Extension Tables, made out of a tempered extra light glass with a veined and organic decoration that resembles marble.
The Tenor by Luxxu is a highly stylish ottoman with a smooth and elegant shape. Made with grey velvet and with polished brass legs, this upholstered beauty will bring an attractive presence to any room, hotel suite or master bedroom.

Recently, Mahdavi collaborated with Bisazza to bring the color back to bathrooms. The designer chose the trendiest color of the moment, Living Coral, also known as Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019!
Maison Valentina
The Lapiaz Marble Freestanding by Maison Valentina is inspired by the typical karst formations produced by the dissolution of limestone rocks. Its high gloss black lacquered interiors are enhanced by a silver plated tear and a vessel sink produced in the finest Nero Marquina marble. Definitely, a statement freestanding vanity that stands out in any bathroom project.
Frank Lloyd Wright
The iconic Taliesin 1 armchair, which the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed for his own home, is now in production for the first time in 28 years. This is all thanks to the Italian brand Cassina, in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. These chairs fit perfectly into the geometric design trend!
