Milan has been swept off its feet since the beginning of the most keenly expected event in the world of interior design: iSaloni 2017. Who’s to blame? The most wonderful, luxurious and mind-blowing furniture and lighting design companies in the world. DelightFULL is obviously there, among others. The DelightFULL stand is the “spotlight” of Hall 13, spreading the exhilaration and refinement typical of mid-century modern lighting.
Pleasure and enjoyment is also one of the main goals of this lighting company. That is the reason why they arrange each day a cocktail moment, to celebrate design amongst friends!
DelightFULL and their stand is, as always, making us see the bright side of life, combining light with joy, brimming in a fundamentally sophisticated and casual way.
The Graphic collection also caused quite an impression. The pieces are irreverent, unconventional and truly fascinating.
This year, DelightFULL also showcased a number of new creations. Amongst them were the BASIE table lamp, the CANNONBALL suspension and the EVANS wall lamp.
The EVANS wall is very distinct.The stark geometrics of this piece contrasts with the shiny and glossy finishes of the tube and shades. It is very uncluttered and, somehow, the juxtaposition of the brass tube and black shades with the red wire makes it a bit teasing.
In a word, CANNONBALL is an explosion. The gold finish gives it a more refined look. Nevertheless, it is still a very powerful piece. It a large and authoritative lamp that needs to have the spotlight, instead of just being the spot of light, of any given room. And yet, there is something fun and irreverent about it, as if it cannot be contained.
BASIE is pure refined elegance. Inspired by the 60s sci-fi aesthetics, it reveals minimalism combined with a subtle je ne sais quoi of good taste. It is one of their latest novelties.
The JACKSON has returned, now in the shape of a suspension piece. The movable shades make us think of Michael Jackson and his memorable dance moves. The luxurious finishes are reminiscent of his style out of the ordinary, whereas the exposed mechanical elements grant the piece rhythm and movement.
