Whatever it is a residential or commercial project, Jane Talbot Design is the way to go!
We created a new tag for you: Design Wednesday. As you know, we talk about everything related to interior design and home decor, so it made a lot of sense to show you some of our inspirations when it comes to this area. The first one we have for you is Jane Talbot Design. If you don’t know this brand than keep up with us!
Jen Talbot is the Creative Director and founder of Jen Talbot Design, a full-service design firm with a focus on Residential and Commercial Design. To give you a little backstory about how the company became reality, let’s talk about the creator.
Entering the design world unconventionally, as they say on the website, Jen holds a MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Before Jen Talbot Design was founded, in 2011, Jane spent the early years of her career as a practicing installation artist, an avid traveler and product designer. At this point, she didn’t know that a decor design company was the way to go.
She started designing space out of necessity, creating and developing the look and feel of a room to intersect with the large-scale art installations she was creating for clients such as Boeing, Renaissance Hotel, Western Union, Drifire, designer Kara Mann, Stuart Weitzman’s daughter and VP of Kate Spade.
When it comes to home decor, it doesn’t take long for Jen to prescribe the right vibe for her new clients. Because she is so good and has such talent as an installation artist, that allows her to see each interior design space with a unique perspective and have an innate understanding of spatial relationships and material combinations.
Jen’s love and dedication allow her to blend old, new, vintage and modern design to create a cohesive, aesthetically pleasing environment.
Jen believes that whether it be a residential or commercial space, it should speak to and reflect the client naturally.
Besides Jen, the creator of the brand Jen Talbot Design, you can also find Sydney Piwowar, the Associate Designer.
