You need to meet Tokenlights and their lighting design!
Brooklyn studio Tokenlights has designed a set of hand-blown glass pendants based on the fruit of a rare Japanese plant. These light fixtures are contemporary pendant lamps are just so out of normal you can’t help but love them.

The GUMI pendants are named and inspired after a small and obscure fruit-bearing bush native to Japan. Appropriately refined, different and really adaptable these pendant lights are one of a kind.
These unique pendant lights are offered in two finishes and three colors. Their dimensions are variable, and custom colors are available. The pieces are hand-blown, so the heights and widths may vary slightly.
The GUMI Pendants are designed, developed, hand-blown and finished in Brooklyn, New York. The surface treatment is inspired by the architect Carlo Scarpa’s 1940s and his glass designs produced by Venini.
The pendant lamps come in three shapes, named Pooh, Dunce and Helmet. Made of partly recycled glass, the fixture is offered in honey, aubergine and sage, in either a raffia or taffeta textured finish.
Tokenlights is owned and operated by Emrys Berkower, a glass artist, and designer. He refers Italian glass-making techniques from the 17th century and mid-century modern design from Italy and Scandinavia amidst his influences.
